COMMISSIONER CONTROL

All League Commissioners have the ability to edit the rosters associated with any team in his or her league and reprocess results, if necessary. By joining a league, you agree to give the Commissioner of that league permission to modify your roster or starting lineup at any time, without notification or explanation. As a Commissioner, you can edit another team's roster by using the Manage Rosters utility found in the Commissioner Tools. With MFS, you will be allowed to do this even after a game has started, with all completed moves written to the Transaction log.All completed Commissioner actions on another team's lineup performed after a game has started will be listed in the Recent Transactions list on your League Home page as an audit trail.

Even though fantasy games are meant to be a competitive experience for all involved and the Commissioner has complete control over their league, it is important to MFS that our users not lose sight of the rules of fair play and good sportsmanship. The Commissioner is granted these powers to ensure that the league runs smoothly without relying on MFS interaction or assistance. It is assumed that each team owner trusts their Commissioner when they join the league. Also, to ensure a fair league, it is assumed that all league owners agree that they will abide by the following regulations:

  • All league-related transactions will be executed with the intent of improving the owner's team and/or its standing within the league.
  • No owner may drop players from their team for any reason other than improving their own team and/or its standing within the league.
  • No owner will engage in any action that may be deemed to be collusive (two or more owners agreeing to make moves that benefit one team, but not the other).

It is the responsibility of team owners to monitor activity within their leagues. If, as an owner, you notice any suspicious or collusive activity in your league, please notify your Commissioner at once so that they may investigate and take the appropriate action -- if any is deemed necessary -- against the offending team(s). If, as an owner, you feel your Commissioner is acting in a suspicious or collusive way, please notify MFS immediately so that we may investigate and take the appropriate action -- if any is deemed necessary -- against the offending Commissioner.
